June 15, 1938 ~ March 29, 2022
It is with great sorrow, that we announce the sudden passing of our father and grandfather George Arley Dodds of Powerview-Pine Falls at the age of 83 years.
George was predeceased by his wife Evelyn and daughter Eileen. He is survived by his daughter Janelle and husband Mike; son-in-law Ken; grandchildren Kiana, Graeme, Tyler, Sarah, Jared and Dan; and multiple nieces and nephews.
George always loved to keep busy, he had many hobbies such as golfing, tending to his garden, fishing, spending time at the lake at his camper, bowling, woodworking on various projects, doing his paintings, but most of all he loved spending time with people. He loved to laugh with everyone, playing pranks or telling jokes. Over the years he regularly would do the rounds of the coffee shops in town with his buddies, who were some of his closest friends over the years.
He was always there for his family, and was someone you could always depend on. He was always willing to lend a hand or teach what he knew. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his hard work, his humor and his kindness.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 1:30pm at the United Church located at 5 Walnut St. Pine Falls, MB, with viewing from 12:30-1:30pm.
