May 14, 1930 – May 22, 2021
Peacefully, June was called home by loving heavenly Spirits.
June lived a life in the service of others. Her calling was to assist street people and all those who needed love. She had a deep personal faith in God, of her understanding.
June was raised in an orphanage, and although family life was elusive as a child, she raised 8 of her own children.
June was an avid reader of mystics and spirituality and always strived to become a better person. She was active in AA for over 55 years and her life experiences were a great inspiration to many in the program.
June also loved to sing, tell stories, walk in the rain and kiss babies. She will be remembered for her generous heart and wonderful sense of humour.
June was predeceased by her father Leo, mother Blanche, brother Peter, sister Jacquie, son James, granddaughter Rebecca, husbands Dennis and Dave. She is survived by her brother Daly and her children; Dennis (Donna), Michael (Cori), Peter (Karen), Bernadette (Charley d. 2015), Nicolette (Wally), Stefan (Jerry), Paul (Shannon) (Kim), and over 40 grand, great and great great grandchildren.
A Celebration of June’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. A light lunch will follow with refreshments.
With COVID restrictions still in effect, there will be a limited number of invited people allowed to attend. Those who wish to attend can do so by arriving at the Funeral Home, remaining in their vehicles and tuning their radio to 98.1 FM. An opportunity to sign the guest book will be offered.

My condolences to all the family. It has been my privilege to know all of you and to spend precious moments with June – to admire her faith, her love, her capacity to love life with all its ups and downs, and to rejoice with every new addition (baby) to her large family!
Her life has been an enrichment to all those who were graced with her “specialness”… I will miss her phone calls and the long years of our loving friendship.
