With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Dennis Hewitt on January 4, 2022 at the age of 74 after a brief acute illness, but long-time challenges with diabetes and its complications. January 31, 1934 ~ December 29, 2021 Alma passed away peacefully in her home. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, one of nine siblings. Alma grew up on her parent’s farm in Greenwald and received her secondary education at Brokenhead School. She then attended Success Commercial College in Winnipeg and became an Executive Secretary at the Department of Transport, Government of Canada where she worked for over forty years, until her retirement. On January 2, 2022 Gordon passed peacefully from this world, to meet his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Life was always an adventure for Gordon, starting with his birth. Born to Ernest and Amelia Klepatz in January of 1935 meant his mother getting to town by horse and sleigh, and then taking a train to Winnipeg for the delivery. 1936 ~ 2021 Sadly, Jane died on December 29th at the age of 85 after losing her battle with cancer. Jane was predeceased by her husband Chris in 2016 after fifty-one years of marriage. She was also predeceased by nine of her siblings. She is survived by her four children, Judy, Diane (Brian), Curtis (Sharon), Cindy (William) along with nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, her brother Wilfrid and many nieces and nephews.
