On the morning of Friday, October 8, 2021, Bernice went to be reunited with her husband Herb, who passed away on January 28, 2005. She was predeceased by her parents Ignace and Sophie (nee Kochan) Baliant, and stepmother Mary. It’s hard for a mother to envision a loss of a child, so it was a sad time when Bernice lost her son Greg (2010).
