Please accept my deepest condolences.
When I first met Diane sometime around 1980 I immediately liked her. I can’t remember exactly if she had left Kraus Industries but we spoke the same “engineering language” and had similar interests . Later she got a job with Manitoba Hydro in Telecontrol Department where I was. She was a wonderful gal with so much talent and skill who like me liked to make stuff! She even gave me a cat for my kids.

I always enjoyed conversing with Diane about work related topics or on the subject of airplanes, motorcycles, music, or her latest project ranging from tractors to banjos. What an amazing variety of skills and talent. What an amazing woman! You’ll be missed.

I am saddened to hear that Dianne has passed on. We had a lot of fun in Cowboy Action Shooting together where Dianne’s alias was “Calamity Jane”.
She had so many interests, they would be lengthy to list. She was into Cowboy Action Shooting, boating (where she was doing pirate reenacting), motorcycling, figure skating, live steam miniature railroading, machining, tractor restorations, aviation, carpentry… and on and on. She was VERY talented in many ways.
We will miss her.
